Dermacolor Powder 60g

Dermacolor Fixing Powder is a loose powder that not only sets cream and liquid makeup, but waterproofs and mattes. Designed to be used with Dermacolour Camouflage Cream, Fixing Powder comes in a variety of shades, is compatible with face and body, and is fragrance free. It can be used lightly to set the face for a matte and water resistant wear, or heavily packed and baked into the skin such as for tattoo coverage for a fully water and smudge proof wear.

Fixing podwer comes in a 60g and 20g size for travel purposes. 

 

Dermacolor System

The Dermacolor system has been developed to create high performance wear of the Camouflage Creme that is resilient against the elements, heat, swimming and physical strain. The system consists of Kryolan Dermacolor Camouflage Cream, Powder and Fixing Spray. The culmination of cream, powder and fixing spray creates a fully waterproof wear of makeup that can be easliy removed with Dermacolor Light Cleansing Oil or Cleansing Milk. 

 

How To

Because it is loose, Dermacolour Fixing Powder in shade P1 can be lighlty dusted onto skin as a translucent powder that sets makeup. Due to its matte and waterproofing qualities it is recommened to use less at a time when setting the entire face for more natural wear.

Fixing Powder can also be used to bake makeup. With a Powder Puff, the powder can be packed onto the face an body and left to sit for 15 minutes. The synergy between powder and Camouflage cream is key to making the application waterproof. Excess powder can then be dusted off lightly with a fan brush and set with Fixing Spray. This process works for heavier wearing of makeup such as cosplay, drag and tattoo coverage.

 

Tattoo Coverage

To conceal a tattoo or area of the skin with darker discolouration, colour correcting is first required to neautralise the discoloration before adding a second layer of coverage. For tattoos that often lean cool tones (purple/blue), a warm corrector is required such as shades D30 and D31. These corrective shades can be directly applied to the skin or mixed in with the foundation shade for less saturated discolourations. The first corrective layer should then be set using a liberal amount of Dermacolor Powder to prevent the creams from mixing. To ensure the cream is set evenly, pack the powder on with a Powder Puff The foundation/concealer shade should then be applied over the corrected and set with Powder again. To add a final layer of sealant, use Dermacolor Fixing Spray for a fully water and smudge-proof wear with added SPF protection. 

 

Pro Tip – Though designed for use with the Dermacolor range, Fixing Powder can be used with any liquid and cream makeup such as TV Paintstick and Digital Complextion Fluid.

Pro Tip – In the summer when the skin is more prone to sweating, Dermacolor Fixing Powder is an exellent product to prevent the separtion of makeup, whilst letting the skin still breath. 

Pro tip – For precise application or to bake, apply the powder with a Triangular Powder Puff.
